Day in the Park: Seaworld San Diego Trip Report

I arrived at the park at 11:30 and left at 5:30.

Coming into Seaworld after a 3 hour drive. After a drive like that, it's more like Peeworld.

Atlantis makes me feel more like I'm at Peeworld with it's huge splash.

Chrismas decorations Seaworld style!

Sorry, same pic again!

Of course first up is....... the restroom, well as a coaster geek I'd rather pee my pants on the coaster than go to the bathroom and waste a ride on MANTA! Manta is the parks only coaster.

It's Mini Milliennium! Most people say it's like the Maverick, while I think it's more like Milliennium Force, but better! It's a Mack LSM launch coaster. Better than Intamins LSM Coasters!

After a ride on Manta and the bathroom, I took some nerd shots!

The line goes under the Manta tank! Well, Bat Rays.

This is my #5 favorite ride.

Now on to my favorite Water Coaster, Journey to Atlantis!

Wait what the F***, it's winter. Why would I do this?

Back Row! Thats why! You don't get wet back there. Well until the rides over and you get nailed with a water cannon!

It's a bit bumpy like Viper at SFMM, but it not too bad.

Yes, this is the "why did I do this" moment!

Time to check out Emo lan......I mean Elmo land.

I tried out Rocking Eels, because Cedar Point is getting a version of this that is 20X bigger! The Elmos(EMOs) in the background are very creepy.

LAME! Well I did chuck a snow ball at some kid preety hard and slowly walked away, but still LAME!

Time for Space Spiral......I mean once more the Sky Tower.

Just some more Von Roll junk, but this one looks nice unlike Space Spiral!

Since the tower is so thin, this thing seems to be like 600', when it's only 320'.

Big Springs!

Nice seats inside!

Time to rest under Manta, when there was a power out and some lady thinking it was unsafe to sit under Manta, because it could"Fly off the tracks".

The west side of te park was shut-down. Manta and the Sky Tower were still down when I left the park at 5:30.

Wrong PARK! Go back to SFMM!

Lights were on, tower was down.

320' fake tree.

Still fake, but looked real at only 40'.

On the next day guess where I went?

Belmont Park! I didn't stay for the rides to open, but the park is open 24/7! It was weird walking around a park where the rides were still being tested.

CHAIN LIFTY MOTOR FROM OVER 85 YEARS AGO!!!!!!!!!!

The website said Octitron was closed, but it was testing!
